Les Nelson

Les Nelson began their work experience as the Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at ROHN Industries, Inc. from 1992 to 2001. Les then worked as the Manager of Accounting and SEC Reporting at Wolverine Tube, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Les served as the Director of Investor Relations and Business Support at Aventine Renewable Energy. Les then became the Vice President and Corporate Controller at Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. from 2009 to 2011. Les then moved on to become the Vice President of Finance at Hinduja Global Solutions Inc. from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at G&D Integrated. Les then worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Fort Transfer Company from 2020 to 2021. Next, they took up the role of Chief Financial Officer at Yoder Oil Co., Inc. from 2021 to 2022, where they successfully initiated the sale process resulting in the company being sold to Cadence Petroleum. Currently, Les is the Chief Financial Officer at Sharkey Transportation Inc, starting in 2022.

Les Nelson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance from The University of Alabama, which they completed between 1979 and 1983. Les then pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting at DePaul University from 1985 to 1987. In 2011, Les Nelson obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Illinois.
