Daniel Cavalcanti has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel began their career as a Software Consultant at Quickchip Microelectronics in 1994, where they worked on digital ASIC design using CADENCE design tools. Daniel then joined Whirlpool Corporation in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed firmware for laundry products and migrated them from electromechanical to electronic controls. At Whirlpool, they took on various roles such as Technical Project Lead, Regional Tech Lead for Cooking Appliances, and Regional Electronics Leader for Cooking Products, where they led teams and managed the development of electronics controls for various cooking appliances. Daniel also worked on a special assignment to standardize procedures and tools for diagnostics through connectivity. In their most recent role, Daniel worked at SharkNinja as a Principal System Engineer and subsequently as the Director of System Engineering.

Daniel Cavalcanti has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal da Paraíba, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Daniel also has a Specialization in Microelectronics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they hold a Green Belt certification from Whirlpool Corporation, which was obtained in 2015.
