Tamara Rivera

Tamara Rivera is an accomplished safety professional with extensive experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global EHSS at SharkNinja since September 2022, Tamara has previously held key roles including Director of EHS & Compliance for Sysco, where responsibilities included establishing overall HSE goals and leading critical safety programs. As Safety Compliance Manager at Dole Food Company, Tamara ensured compliance with safety regulations and enhanced employee safety awareness. Additional experience includes managing occupational safety and health at Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates and overseeing regulatory compliance at Smile Starters. Tamara began a career with US Foods as an E&S Specialist, progressively advancing through increasingly complex roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Eastern Kentucky University.
