Jacob Miller

Jacob Miller has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Jacob began their career in 2008 as a Supervisor (Deputy of Counter Intelligence) and Senior Counter Intelligence Agents at Geek Squad. In 2014, they joined Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as an Engineer, PureConnect Cloud Implementation and System Support Engineer. In 2016, they were promoted to Senior Engineer, Cloud Operations at Genesys. In 2020, they moved to Infosys Ltd as a Technology Analyst, CIS. Currently, they are a DevOps Engineer at Sharpen, where they are responsible for firewall policy management, management and administration of security-related systems and applications, performing or coordinating penetration tests and vulnerability scans, systems administration tasks, investigating and acting on security incidents, and overseeing periodic monitoring and reviewing of audit records.

Jacob Miller received their Electrical Enginnering Technology degree from IUPUI between 2008 and 2014. Jacob has also obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2020, AWS Technical Essentials from Global Knowledge in December 2016, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in September 2015, ICCE 3.0 and ICCE 4.0 from Interactive Intelligence in January 2014, Mac Management 10.8 from Pearson VUE in October 2013, Mac Integration Basics 10.8 from Prometric in September 2013, CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in June 2012, and Microsoft Technology Associate - Windows OS Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2012.
