Patricia Lorusso

Patricia LoRusso currently serves as the Associate Center Director for Innovative Medicine at Yale Cancer Center, a position held since August 2014. Prior to this, Patricia was associated with Karmanos Cancer Institute from 1997 to 2014, where roles included Director of the Center for Translational Therapeutics and Director of the Phase I Clinical Trials Program. Patricia's academic career at Wayne State University School of Medicine spanned from 1985 to 2014, encompassing positions as Professor and Associate Professor, along with a fellowship earlier in the institution from 1985 to 1988. Patricia completed residency and internship at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital from 1981 to 1985. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Internal Medicine/Oncology from Michigan State University earned between 1977 and 1981, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Religion/Religious Studies and Biology from Marygrove College obtained from 1974 to 1977.
