Rosemary Mitchell

Program Director: Regional Technical Assistance Center For Community Schools at Shasta County Office of Education

Rosemary Mitchell currently serves as Program Director for the Regional Technical Assistance Center for Community Schools at the Shasta County Office of Education, a role held since June 2020, focused on enhancing Community Schools across 13 counties in rural Northern California. Previously, Rosemary held the position of K12 Pathway Coordinator at United Way of Salt Lake from August 2016 to May 2020, and served in multiple roles, including Senior Community School Director and Community School Director within the Peace Corps from June 2014 to July 2016, specializing as a Health Education Specialist. Additional experience includes research and clinical roles at the University of Utah, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Social Work obtained in 2013, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Brigham Young University in 2011. Rosemary is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Sac State, expected to complete in May 2025.
