Karen Leonard, CAMS, BSACS, serves as a Senior BSA Compliance Consultant at Shatswell, MacLeod & Company, P.C. since November 2018, following a brief retirement in June 2020. With extensive experience in BSA/AML compliance, Karen has held senior roles at various financial institutions, including Sheshunoff Consulting & Solutions and First Tech Federal Credit Union, where key contributions involved executing compliance audits, facilitating mergers, and implementing comprehensive AML-BSA-OFAC programs. Early career achievements include establishing a full-service branch for HP Family Federal Credit Union and cultivating collaborative relationships to enhance regulatory compliance. Karen holds a CAMS certification and is educated at Northeastern University.
