Colleen Fitzgerald

Colleen Fitzgerald has extensive experience in the field of clinical data management. Colleen is currently working as the Director Data Management at Shattuck Labs since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at GSK as a Principal Clinical Data Manager from January 2020 to October 2020.

From 2016 to 2020, Colleen worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, first as a Global Data Management Specialist/Oncology Therapeutic Area Expert and then as a Global Data Manager Specialist. During this time, they developed and implemented oncology specific standards and guidance, ensured efficient data processing in oncology studies, and collaborated with key partners to develop oncology standards.

Before that, from 2006 to 2016, Colleen worked at GSK as a Principal Clinical Data Scientist/Data Quality Lead. In this role, they were responsible for data quality in oncology studies and provided input into protocols and dataset specifications.

Colleen started their career at Duke Clinical Research Institute in 2001 as a Clinical Data Specialist II, managing multiple trials and providing training. Colleen then worked at PAREXEL as a Clinical Data Manager, overseeing the design and maintenance of clinical data management processes.

In 1998, Colleen began their career as a Clinical Trials Assistant II at Duke Clinical Research Institute, where they created and resolved data queries and ensured data integrity.
