Herb Upton

Herb Upton serves as the Senior Vice President of Pricing and Revenue at Shaw Industries, a position held since January 1994, where responsibilities include leading the Residential Carpet Strategic Profit Center with PnL oversight and the development and execution of a five-year business strategy. Previous roles at Shaw Industries include Vice President of Residential Carpet and Vice President of Manufacturing and Hard Surface Flooring, where leadership involved directing product category operations. Additionally, Herb Upton contributed to the Georgia Institute of Technology as a member of the Executive Advisory Board in Material Science and Engineering for a brief period in January 2015. Upton holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology (1989-1993) and an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Georgia State University (2001-2004).
