Nakia Sharp

Nakia Sharp is the current Director of Corporate Inventory at Shaw Industries. Nakia has over 16 years of experience in materials management and engineering. Nakia began their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Delphi from January 2000 to December 2003. Nakia then transitioned to Manufacturing Engineer/Supervisor at Otis Elevator Company from June 1998 to June 2000. In their current role, they lead a team of 50+ planners and buyers in meeting corporate goals and ensuring profitability. Nakia also establishes safe and effective working environments, builds supplier relationships, and develops presentations for executives and key clients.

Nakia Sharp has an MBA from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in Supply Chain and Marketing. They also have a Bachelor of Science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians. Nakia is also certified from the Institute for Supply Management as a Certified Professional in Supply Management (C.P.S.M).
