Boris Lau

Boris Lau is an experienced ESOL Tutor at Shaw Trust since October 2022, specializing in developing English language skills from Entry level to level 2 while monitoring learners' attendance and well-being. Prior to this role, Boris worked as a Trainee Printer at Smurfit Kappa, where certification as a fire marshal was obtained. An English Teacher at Kids Duo Toyota from May 2018 to July 2021, Boris completed a 120-hour TEFL course and 20 hours of classroom experience. Experience also includes a Store Planner position at Retail Design Solutions, providing store planning and data management services from October 2014 to October 2017, as well as a brief role in executive administration at the NHS. Early career includes interior design work with Leicester County Cricket Club. Boris holds a degree in Interior Design from De Montfort University and a foundation degree in Art and Design from The Colchester Institute.
