Grant Vinten

Grant Vinten is the current Associate Director at Shawbrook Bank. Prior to that, they worked as the Relationship Director - Asset Finance for Propel Finance from February 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they managed a portfolio of asset finance customers across multiple sectors, providing asset finance to support their CAPEX spend and investment in business assets aligned with their strategic plans. Grant also developed new business relationships through direct channels, targeting prospective clients in prime sectors that have a regular and structured CAPEX plan, requiring finance to support such investment in the business.

During their time at Propel Finance, Grant also led the development and production of a new PD/LGD risk model to ascertain portfolio risk across own-book debt and produce weekly Risk briefings for external funders and investors, as well as internal stakeholders including CFO and CEO. Grant worked with external partners with whom there is a strategic partnership to service new business introductions, managing relationship with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on partnership objectives and fund inbound referrals.

Before joining Propel Finance, Grant worked as the Senior Business Development Manager - CID Specialist for MarketFinance from May 2019 to January 2020.

Grant Vinten has a BA Hons in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire. Grant also has an International Business degree in Finance & Investment from the University of North Florida. Grant is certified by The London Institute of Banking & Finance in Diploma in Asset Finance (DipAF) and by the Chartered Management Institute in Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership. Grant is also certified by the Asset Based Finance Association in ABFA Foundation Course and by the Chartered Institute of Banking Scotland in Professional Bankers Diploma.
