Bailey Gillespie, M.A.

Bailey Gillespie, M.A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bailey currently works as a Marketing Copywriter for Jessup University, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at Bailey Reads Truth, including Content Writer and Associate Editor from June 2019 to May 2021. In these roles, they wrote and edited theological content, supported the Content Director, and created show notes for podcast episodes.

Bailey also has experience at William Jessup University, where they served as the Writing Center Director and managed a team of tutors and staff. Bailey also held the position of Director of Academic Engagement, where they developed student success services and coordinated schedules for various departments. Additionally, they worked as a Project Coordinator, responsible for writing and editing copy, conducting workshops, and providing training.

Bailey'searlier experience includes an internship as a Promotions Intern at The Gray Havens, an Administrative Assistant role at Horizon Community Church, and a Quality Control Proofreader position at National Shopping Service. Bailey also worked as a Resources Coordinator and Writing Center Tutor at William Jessup University.

Bailey started their career as a Computer Lab Assistant at Folsom Lake College. With their strong background in writing, editing, and project coordination, Bailey brings a well-rounded skill set to their current role in marketing.

Bailey Gillespie, M.A. has a diverse education history. They began their educational journey at Folsom Lake College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they also obtained certification in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage from the Healing Arts Institute in 2008.

After completing their time at Folsom Lake College, Bailey pursued their Bachelor of English degree in Creative Writing at Jessup University from 2011 to 2013. They then furthered their education by attending New England College from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Professional Writing.

In addition to their formal education, Bailey has obtained various certifications. They completed training on Excel 2010 Essential Training, Having Difficult Conversations, Public Speaking Fundamentals, and Business Writing Fundamentals through lynda.com in 2014. They also earned the certification of Certified Massage Therapist from the Healing Arts Institute in 2008.
