Heather Vollono has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Heather currently works as a Community Support Specialist at Heather Reads Truth since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Guest Services Specialist at Laurel Mercantile from October 2020 to June 2021. From February 2018 to January 2020, they were a Grant Coordinator at Informed Families/The Florida Family Partnership, Inc., where they ensured the successful implementation of grant objectives in designated schools.

Before that, Vollono worked as a Schedule Coordinator at Care to Continue from September 2016 to January 2017. Heather'sresponsibilities included coordinating schedules for caregivers and clients while also addressing client concerns. Heather also has experience as an Alcohol and Drug Services Director and Assistant Director at Region 8 Mental Health Ctr. The roles involved training staff, maintaining electronic health records, and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines.

Vollono began their career as an Intern Therapist at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services from August 2011 to May 2012. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills in various settings.

Heather Vollono's education history begins with their earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University between 2007 and 2009. Heather later pursued a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at The University of Southern Mississippi from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Vollono has obtained several certifications. In July 2014, they became a Certified Addictions Therapist through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. Furthermore, in September 2016, they obtained a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists.
