Artur Chętkowski

Artur Chętkowski has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as a 3rd Officer at O.W. Bunker and PG Tankers. In 2008, they joined WesternGeco as a 2nd Officer, where they assisted in navigation and daily operational requirements. In 2011, they began working for Polarcus as a 3rd Officer/DPO, then moved up to the role of 2nd Officer/DPO in 2014, and eventually became a Chief Officer/DPO in 2016. Artur remained with Polarcus until 2021 when they joined Ultra Deep Solutions as a 2nd Officer/DPO for a short period before transitioning to their current role as Chief Officer/DPO at Shearwater GeoServices in August 2021.

Artur Chętkowski attended Gdynia Maritime University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Maritime Navigation. Additionally, they hold certifications in various fields such as being a Master Mariner on Ships of 3000 Gross Tonnage and more, Safety Officer, and various other certifications in areas like fire fighting, bridge resource management, and more.
