Francesco Borraccini

Francesco Borraccini is a Principal Geologist at Shearwater GeoServices, with a robust background in structural geology. Previously, Francesco held senior roles at Energean and Edison E&P, where expertise in structural geology was demonstrated through positions as a Senior Structural Geologist and Structural Geology Expert. Francesco also served as Sr Structural Geologist and Exploration Projects Leader for Edison E&P's Egypt branch. Academic contributions include teaching structural geology applied to hydrocarbons at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and conducting research as a Post-Doc at the University of Urbino. Francesco earned a PhD in Structural Geology from Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo, along with additional qualifications in GIS and Earth Sciences from the University of Leeds and the University of Camerino.
