Ryan Phelps

Ryan Phelps, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Ryan started their career as a Tax Admin Intern at Carr, Riggs & Ingram in 2017. In 2018, they worked as an Audit Intern at Cherry Bekaert LLP. Ryan continued their journey at Cherry Bekaert LLP as an Audit Staff in 2019. In 2020, Ryan joined Shearwater Health as a Senior Accountant and later transitioned into the role of Manager, Financial Reporting. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director, Financial Operations & Systems at Shearwater Health.

Ryan Phelps, CPA has a Master of Accountancy with a specialization in Data Analytics from Lipscomb University, which was obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Lipscomb University, completing the degree from 2015 to 2018. Ryan has also obtained additional certifications including Certified Public Accountant from the State of Tennessee in 2020, Ethics Certification from the Student Center for the Public Trust in 2017, and Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in 2017.
