Andrew Knight

Andrew Knight has a long and varied work experience in the laser technology industry. Andrew began their career in 1985 as a Technician at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Center for Holographic Studies and Laser Technology, where they built, assembled, and tested laser-related instrumentation. In 1986, they joined Rofin-Baasel, Inc. as a Manager of Sales and Marketing, where they held several positions over the years. In 1998, they founded Alltec Laser Systems, Inc. as the US subsidiary of Alltec GmbH, where they performed all functions including keeping the books and managing inventory in addition to sales and service. In 2005, they joined Videojet Technologies, Inc. as a Sales Engineer/Laser Specialist. In 2008, they moved to Panasonic Electric Works of America as a Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. In 2009, they joined Lambda Research Corporation as a Technical Sales Manager. In 2015, they returned to Videojet Technologies as a Laser Sales Specialist, Solid State Products. In 2021, they joined ABCorp as a 3D Printing Sales. Finally, in 2022, they became an Account Manager at Sheaumann Laser.

Andrew Knight attended the U.S. Naval Advanced Electronics Program from 1981 to 1983, where they studied Advanced Electronics. Andrew then completed the Laser Safety Officer Training Program in 1984, receiving a Certificate in Laser Safety. From 1984 to 1986, they took various courses in advanced mathematics, optics, and computer-aided design at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
