Gabriel Nieves

Gabriel Nieves, PHR, SHRM-CP, currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Shedd Aquarium since January 2025 and is a Founding Member of The People Collective since September 2024. Previously, Gabriel held the position of Vice President People & Culture at PAWS Chicago from March 2021 to December 2024 and contributed as Area Director People & Culture at Davidson Hospitality Group from December 2017 to March 2021. Additional roles include Director of Human Resources at Ambassador Chicago, Senior Human Resources Manager at Hilton, Staffing and Development Team Leader at Target, and Hiring and Training Coordinator at Best Buy. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from DePaul University.
