Scott Ellison

Scott Ellison is a legal expert with extensive experience in business and commercial law. Currently serving as a Partner at Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA since November 2022, Scott previously held the position of Partner at Cook Little Rosenblatt & Manson from August 2008 to November 2022, focusing on counseling small and medium-sized closely held companies and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Scott was a Partner at Devine Millimet & Branch in the Corporate and Business Law Department and chaired the Hiring Committee from 2003 to 2006. Scott's career began at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where assistance was provided to the International Trade Administration from August 1989 to August 1991. Scott holds an LLM in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.
