Michael A. Ewell Sr.

Michael A. Ewell Sr. has extensive professional experience, primarily with NJ TRANSIT as a Conductor since October 1996, where responsibilities include operating trains, customer service, and handling cash. In addition, Michael serves as Secretary for the SMART Transportation Division since January 2017 and owns Ewell Auto Sales & Broker, focusing on auto sales and credit acquisition since January 2013. As the Owner/Preparer of Ewell Tax Center LLC since January 1996, Michael has successfully served 900 clients, providing tax preparation and financial planning services. Previous roles include Vice Chairman of SMART Transportation Division (2010-2014), representing over 1,100 train operators, and management at Viacom overseeing a team in a multiplex cinema (1991-1993), as well as outreach coordination at Covenant House for high-risk youth (1990-1991). Michael's educational background includes studying at the University of the District of Columbia from 1987 to 1990.
