Raahil Nayak

Raahil Nayak is currently a Graduate Teaching Associate at Sheffield Hallam University, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Hypersonic Aerodynamics. Raahil has previously held roles as a UAV Mechanical and Aerodynamic Design Engineer at Asteria Aerospace Limited and served as a Student Ambassador at Cranfield University. Additionally, Raahil was the Social Media Manager for the Cranfield Aeronautical Society and contributed to a design project for Safran as a Main Landing Gear Design Engineer. Raahil co-led investigations on wind energy systems at Manipal Institute of Technology and held the position of President at People for Animal Welfare. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, focusing on Aerostats for wind energy harnessing. Raahil holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design and a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering.
