Simon Peck

Simon Peck is a Senior Lecturer and Module Lead for Business Operations & Project Management at Sheffield Hallam University, a position held since February 2020. Prior to this, Simon had extensive experience at Rolls-Royce from August 2005 to December 2019, including roles such as Supplier Operations Manager and Supplier Development & Business Improvement Manager. Key achievements include building a team to implement purchasing processes and design a supporting SAP system, managing a $15M supply chain, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across various suppliers. Earlier experience at GE Lighting included roles as Manufacturing Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt, contributing to quality improvement and process enhancements. Simon holds a Beng (Hons) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from De Montfort University.
