Dakota Jackson, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Government Relations and Engagement at SHEIN and is a co-founder of District Heroines, a sister-owned candle and gift company. Dakota's experience includes acting as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University for the American Politics Summer Academy, while previously holding roles such as Director and Senior Manager of Political Affairs at the National Retail Federation and Government Relations Manager at the Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. Dakota began a career in political engagement with various positions in congressional campaigns and state races, starting as an intern at the U.S. House of Representatives.
