SheJumps
Liz Sequeira is an experienced operations and program manager with a focus on outdoor education and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as the Volunteer and Operations Manager at SheJumps since September 2022, Liz oversees internal operations, accounting systems, and a team of over 150 volunteers nationwide. Previous roles include Operations Coordinator at SheJumps, Logistics Coordinator and Instructor at Chadwick School, and Program Coordinator with Naturalists At Large, where Liz managed complex logistics and educational programs for diverse groups. Additionally, Liz has held positions such as Program Assistant and Safety Chair at Heart of Oregon Corps and Lead Instructor at Outward Bound California. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration from Humboldt State University.

Mission: SheJumps increases the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities to foster confidence, leadership, and connection to nature and community through free and low-cost outdoor education. SheJumps increases the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities to foster confidence, leadership, and connection to nature and community. SheJumps believes growth is in our nature, but fear of stereotypes, failure, rejection, labels, etc—those spoken over us, spoken inside of us and what we’ve believed—limit our growth. SheJumps helps women and girls take risks in the outdoors to enable them to break through fears and internal/external barriers in life so they can grow to their full potential. SheJumps is almost entirely volunteer-run.
