Cheryl Clausel is an experienced entomologist and environmentalist currently working at the Shelby County Health Department since 2017. Prior to this role, Cheryl served as a housing inspector at the City of Memphis Code Enforcement from September 2015 to August 2017 and volunteered as an ESL teacher at Su Casa from August 2014 to April 2016. Cheryl's experience includes a position as an environmentalist and lab technician focused on mosquito control and surveillance at Shelby County Vector Control from June 2012 to December 2014, as well as a staffing consultant role at Express Employment Professionals from September 2012 to February 2013. Cheryl holds a master's degree in public health from The University of Memphis and a bachelor's of science in biology from Christian Brothers University.
