Jason Mayse, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over two decades of extensive payroll management experience. Currently serving as the Director of Payroll for Memphis-Shelby County Schools since August 2018, Jason oversees a team of 10 in processing bi-weekly payroll for over 12,000 employees. Previously, Jason held the role of Sr. Manager, Payroll at Sedgwick, where responsibilities included managing a $900 million annual payroll for 15,000 employees. Jason's career also includes significant experience as Payroll Manager at Guardsmark, where oversight was provided for payroll operations for 16,000 employees across multiple countries. Additionally, Jason has held roles in purchasing management and corporate recruitment. Jason earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Christian Brothers University.
