Bhala Kanade

Bhala Kanade has extensive experience in plant management and operational excellence within the Shell organization, serving as Plant Manager at Shell's largest lubricant plant from January 2008 to October 2024. In previous roles, including Assistant Plant Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager, Bhala focused on enhancing plant operations, driving continuous improvement projects, and leadership coaching. Additionally, Bhala has developed and executed lean deployment strategies as Operational Excellence Manager, utilizing lean six sigma methodologies to close performance gaps and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. With experience in various positions at multiple Shell locations and Motiva Enterprises LLC, Bhala holds an MBA from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business.
