Furqaan Khaliq

Furqaan Khaliq is a seasoned data scientist and engineer with extensive experience in project-based roles across various organizations. Currently employed at Shell since November 2021, Furqaan has previously held positions at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and Alliander, specializing in text analysis and predictive modeling. Earlier roles included data consultancy at Aegon Nederland, data science at Randstad Nederland focusing on labor market insights, and significant contributions at the Nederlandse Energie Maatschappij in developing data-driven algorithms. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Operations Research and Quantitative Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management from Delft University of Technology. Additionally, internship experiences were completed at TNO and Corbion, focusing on analytical models and demand prediction.
