Giuliano Gradinati is a member of the GreenGen European team based in Italy. As Energy Engineer, he works on the development and implementation of energy reduction solutions.
Prior to GreenGen, Giuliano worked for a start-up operating in the energy efficiency sector of residential buildings where he performed energy audits and was involved in the design and development of efficient energy systems for thermal and electrical energy production.
Giuliano was also active in Belgium where he worked as an external contractor for firms such as Toyota and GlaxoSmithKline. During this period, his focus was the research and the implementation of green technologies for several applications. At GSK, he predicted current trends of CO2 emissions while contributing to the implementation of efficient solutions that could reduce the environmental impact of the company buildings’ construction to accommodate 10,000 employees daily. At Toyota, Giuliano evaluated both the current trend of the car market and the future growth of EV while performing tests aimed at reducing the car consumption through an optimization of the air conditioning unit of the vehicle.
Giuliano started his journey at Politecnico di Milano where he graduated with a B.Sc.Eng. in Energy Engineering. He later graduated with a M.Sc.Eng. in Thermal Energy, a branch of the sustainable energy program at the mechanical engineering department of Danmarks Tekniske Universitet.
