Louis Tan

Louis Tan is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as General Manager for Customer Operations Business Mobility and Low Carbon Solutions at Shell since August 2006. In this role, Louis leads a global team of 800 talent, focusing on serving B2B customers across 60 countries while guiding the energy transition. Previous roles at Shell also include General Manager positions for Customer Operations in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, as well as expertise in global pricing, demand, and retail operations. Prior to Shell, Louis held the position of Assistant Director at the Infocomm Media Development Authority in Singapore, where responsibilities included policy formulation and industry development. Louis possesses a strong academic background with an MBA from INSEAD, a Master's in Public Policy and Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
