Matt Wilks is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in rehabilitation services. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Rehabilitation Officer at Sheltering Arms Institute since October 2017, Matt plays a pivotal role in establishing the institute as a joint venture with VCU Health while managing broad administrative responsibilities. Previously, as Associate Vice President at Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Matt oversaw inpatient therapies across two hospitals and outpatient therapies in ten clinics. Early career experience includes serving as Director of Therapy Services at Sheltering Arms Hospital, where leadership encompassed multiple therapy disciplines. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary.
