Laura Jackson

Laura Jackson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in data analysis, education, real estate, and leadership. Currently a Data Analyst Student at Thinkful, Laura focuses on business forecasting and statistical analysis while developing proficiency in various data analytics tools such as Pandas, Excel, and Tableau. Concurrently, Laura serves as a Substitute Teacher for Shenandoah County Public Schools and has been active as a Realtor with Jackson Homes Group and Real since April 2020. Laura also operates an online shop called East Coast Vintage in the Valley, showcasing curated vintage styles. As the Chief Executive Officer of Local Jurisdiction Consulting since 2018, Laura promotes modern and efficient practices. Previous roles include Director of the Local Alliance for Urban & Rural Advancement, Licensed Realtor at eXp Realty, and Settlement Processor at Nexus Title and Escrow, LLC, supporting various real estate transactions. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Virginia Commonwealth University.
