Steve McCahan has extensive work experience in the pharmacy industry. Steve started their career at Everett Pharmacy, Inc. as a Pharmacist/Owner, where they managed a team and was responsible for scheduling and payroll. Steve then worked as a Staff Pharmacist at Rite Aid Pharmacy, processing a high volume of prescriptions. McCahan later joined Giant Eagle, Inc., where they served as a Staff Pharmacist, Pharmacy Team Leader, and Pharmacy Team Leader - Master Trainer, managing multiple busy pharmacies. Steve then transitioned to WellSpan Health as a Pharmacy Shift Manager before becoming the Pharmacy Director at Shenandoah Community Health. McCahan also worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at Boswell Pharmacy Svc. and currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy and Compliance at Shenandoah Community Health.

Steve McCahan attended Everett Area High School from 1994 to 2000. After completing high school, they enrolled in Duquesne University and earned their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, Steve has obtained certifications in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Red Cross and Immunization Certification from the American Pharmacists Association.
