Russell Gore

Russell Gore currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Avalon Action Alliance since March 2024. Since December 2015, Russell has also held the positions of Founding Director of the Complex Concussion Clinic and Medical Director of the SHARE Military Initiative at Shepherd Center. Additionally, Russell is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. Past roles include Vestibular Neurology Fellow and Neurotrauma Research Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine, and NINDS Research Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology. Russell’s experience as a USAF Research Physician and Flight Surgeon further complements an extensive medical background. Russell received a Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University, with advanced training in bioengineering and biomedical engineering.
