Shepherd Neame is an English independent brewery. The Company operates through three segments: Brewing and Brands, which includes brewing, marketing and sales of beer, wine and spirits; Managed Pubs and Hotels, which comprises managed pubs and managed hotels, and Tenanted and Leased Pubs, which comprises pubs operated by third parties under tenancy or lease agreements. The Company offers brews, including Spitfire, Whitstable Bay Pale Ale and Bishops Finger, as well as internationally lagers, such as Asahi Super Dry and Samuel Adams Boston Lager from its brewery in Faversham. The Company owns and operates approximately 328 pubs and hotels throughout the South East of England. These pubs are a mixture of 267 tenanted, 54 managed operations, and seven free of tie pubs. It also owns various unlicensed properties and small landholdings.

Shepherd Neame has a board of directors with a history of experience in various industries. These include ASOS.com, London and Partners, Shaftesbury PLC, British Fashion Council, British Beer & Pub Association, St Austell Brewery, DARTMOOR BREWERY LIMITED, and Admiral Taverns. Most have experience as non-executive directors, CEOs, or chairman. All have at least an A level education from Polytechnic of Central London.
