Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
Kurt Zuger has a wide range of experience in the Resort, Hotel, and Restaurant industries. Kurt started their career as an Executive Sous-Chef at THE SCOTTSDALE PRINCESS HOTEL, where they worked from 1988 to 1995. Kurt then became the Executive Chef at Buttes A Carefree Resort from 1995 to 1999, where they earned accolades for the Top of the Rock restaurant. From 1999 to 2001, they served as the Director of Food and Beverage/Executive Chef at THE CLUB AT COPPERWYND, a European-inspired Resort and Country Club. Kurt then worked as a Corporate Chef at AMERICAN FOOD SERVICES in 2001 and as an Executive Chef at THE WIGWAM GOLF RESORT & SPA from 2003 to 2009, overseeing multiple restaurants and banquet facilities. From 2009 to 2011, they held the position of Executive Chef/Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Westminster Hotel. Kurt then moved to Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, where they initially served as the Director of Food and Beverage/Executive Chef from 2011 to 2012 and eventually became the Director of Operations. Most recently, Kurt Zuger retired in 2017 and enjoys their vacation. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commendable and highly progressive 34-year career, emphasizing continuous improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer service.
From 1975 to 1978, Kurt Zuger attended the Hospitality School in St. Gallen. During this period, they pursued a Culinary apprenticeship and obtained a degree in Culinary.
