Leorah Young has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Leorah currently holds the position of Director of Catering Sales at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sage Hospitality from 2014 to 2021, starting as a Marketing Project Coordinator and advancing to the role of Director of Catering Sales & Marketing. Leorah also worked as the Director of Events at Kevin Taylor Restaurant Group at The Denver Art Museum from 2011 to 2014, and as the General Manager at The Pinyon from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Leorah had a role as a Marketing Project Coordinator at Townhouse Restaurant Group from 2007 to 2009. Throughout their career, Leorah has demonstrated their expertise in driving revenue, coordinating events, and providing team leadership.
Leorah Young has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Hospitality Industry Studies from New York University. Leorah also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theater & Media Studies from Emerson College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Leorah has obtained several certifications, including Sales Training from Master Connection Associates in January 2017, a Wine Fundamentals Certificate (Level 2) from the International Sommelier Guild in April 2010, and a Level 1 Foundation in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in February 2007.
