Brian Carey

Brian Carey has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Brian started their career as a professional Rugby player for the Irish Rugby Football Union from 1998 to 1999. Brian then transitioned into the financial sector, working as a Financial Sales Consultant at Cornmarket Group Financial Services from 2000 to 2001. After that, they worked as a Senior negotiator at Hooke & MacDonald from 2001 to 2008. In 2009, they joined MKO Partners as an Assistant Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as an Asset Recovery Manager at the National Asset Management Agency, handling non-performing loans. Following that, they worked as the Head of Acquisitions at Cairn Homes PLC from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director - Residential and Commercial Development at Rohan Holdings Limited since 2020, and they are expected to join Sherry FitzGerald as a Commercial Director in August 2023.

Brian Carey attended Blackrock College from 1987 to 1993, where they completed their Leaving Cert. From 1994 to 1998, they pursued a degree in International Business at University College Dublin, where they obtained a BComm. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Chartered Accountant qualification at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
