Bryan J. Young is the current Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Sherwin-Williams. Bryan has previous experience as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Valspar from October 2015 to June 2017, and they were responsible for executing all Company acquisitions and divestitures, developing acquisition strategies in close collaboration with business and regional leadership, and driving M&A process improvements throughout the organization. On June 1, 2017, Sherwin-Williams closed the acquisition of Valspar. Bryan has also worked as the Vice President of Strategy at Agrium from September 2011 to October 2015, where they established Company strategic priorities and drove execution of strategic growth plans in partnership with business leads. Bryan was also a key driver in developing Company philosophies on Operational Excellence, Capital Allocation and People. Furthermore, they were responsible for the establishment of strategic performance metrics and coordination and presentation of strategy to the Board of Directors. Bryan is experienced in management of shareholder activism scenarios. Prior to their work at Agrium, Bryan worked as the Senior Analyst of Business Integration at Rockwell Collins from November 2000 to June 2001, and as the Director of Corporate Development at Rockwell Automation from June 2003 to September 2011.

Bryan J. Young completed their undergraduate degree at the Wisconsin School of Business, where they majored in finance. Bryan then went on to complete their MBA at Marquette University, again with a focus in finance.

Bryan J. Young reports to Allen J. Mistysyn, SVP & CFO. They are on a team with Lawrence J. Boron - VP, Taxes & Assistant Secretary, Jeffrey J. Miklich - VP & Treasurer, and James R. Jaye - SVP, IR & Corporate Communications.
