George Pylar

George Pylar has extensive experience in quality management and digital technology within the coatings industry, currently serving as Global Digital Technology Manager at Sherwin-Williams since November 2012. Responsibilities include modernizing formulation-focused quality systems, managing a global team, and translating customer needs into technology solutions. Previous roles encompassed leadership in quality improvement for North American manufacturing facilities, managing teams supporting product launches, and collaborating with Research and Development. Pylar also contributed to academia as a research assistant at the University of Cincinnati while holding various roles in the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, both from the University of Cincinnati.
