Cary Curry is the Director at German American and the Spiritual Director at BYX - Beta Upsilon Chi. With a background in college ministry and as an elder at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, Cary has been investing in the lives of others for many years. Additionally, Cary is the President at Curry Auto Center, leading a team of 100 employees to create a positive environment for both customers and employees. Cary has also been a Speaker/Writer since 2018, sharing insights from their book "An Unlikely Discipler" in various speaking engagements and publications. With a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters, Cary continues to make an impact in various areas of their expertise.

Sherwood Oaks is a church that is constantly growing and changing, but stays rooted in the Biblical principles that we first were founded upon. Sherwood Oaks is a church that believes that the Bible is Absolute Truth and infallible. We believe that God sent His only son, Jesus, to live a perfect life and then die on a cross to save us for eternity. We believe that God desires our whole lives to be firmly rooted in Him and that He wants us to share our message with the world. We are a church that chooses to be positive, encouraging and hopeful. We are a church that is for everyone –regardless of faith background, financial status, or any other worldly designation. We are a church full of people just like you – unsure, complicated, excited, passionate, loving, graceful, dependent and human.
