William Irvine

William Irvine currently serves as a Motorman at NorthLink Ferries since January 2024, following a role as a Relief Engineer and Sole Engineer at Shetland Islands Council beginning in August 2022. Prior experience includes working as a 3rd Engineer Officer for Carnival UK (P&O Cruises & Cunard) from August 2022 to January 2023, and a 3rd Engineer and Engineer Cadet at North Star from September 2018 to August 2022. William Irvine holds a degree in HNC Marine Engineering with a focus on Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of the Highlands and Islands, where studies took place from 2018 to 2021.
