Kathy Miller is currently the Executive Director of Instructional Services and Secondary Options at Shiawassee RESD, a position held since October 2014. Prior to this role, Kathy served in various capacities at Shiawassee RESD from 1999 to 2013, including Director of Instructional Services and Coordinator of Assessment, Instruction and School Improvement. Kathy began their career in education at Beecher Community Schools as an elementary and alternative/adult education teacher from 1990 to 1995, and then worked as a Curriculum Coordinator at Swartz Creek Community Schools from 1995 to 1999. Kathy holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Education from the University of Michigan.
