Simon Masters

Simon Masters has over 15 years of experience in the recruitment and talent management industry. Simon began their career in 2004 as a Technology Recruitment Manager at Goldman Sachs, where they were responsible for resourcing and talent attraction within the Technology divisions across EMEA. In 2005, they took on the role of Head of Resourcing & Talent at Trayport Ltd, a Fintech start-up, where they were responsible for the effective growth of the firm through establishing both HR and Resourcing functions. During their time at Trayport, they grew the company from 25 people in London to just under 150 in 3 different global locations. In 2011, they took on the role of HR Change Project - Interim Head of Resourcing - EMEA (Contract) at Threadneedle Investments, and in 2010 they became the IDEAS Head of EMEA Resourcing (VP) at Morgan Stanley. In 2012, they joined Jump Trading, LLC as the Resourcing & People Manager, and in 2015 they became the Head of LGIM Resourcing (Global) at Legal & General Investment Management. Most recently, they have been the Director of People & Talent at Shieldpay since 2019, and is currently also the Group Director of People & Talent, leveraging SPG's award-winning payments platform.

Simon Masters attended Coventry University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a BA(Hons) in Recreation & Planning.
