Heather Valiton

Heather Valiton, PharmD, CSP, currently serves as Clinical Accreditation Manager at Shields Health Solutions since March 2023. Prior to this role, Valiton worked as a Pharmacy Accreditation Reviewer at URAC from August 2016 to March 2023. Valiton's experience also includes positions as a Pharmacist at Hennepin Healthcare from November 2013 to February 2018 and at Allina Health from November 2009 to November 2013. Early career experience involved working as a Pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy for a brief period in 2009 and as Director of Clinical Affairs at EnviroSource, Inc. from March 2007 to May 2009. Valiton's foundational experience in pharmacy management and clinical roles includes serving as Pharmacy Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, and Staff Pharmacist at Fairview Health Services from July 1999 to February 2007. Educationally, Valiton holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, obtained between 1995 and 1999, and previously attended The University of Toledo from 1990 to 1993.
