Svyatoslav Korneev has a diverse work experience across various research and development roles. Beginning in 2005 at Procter & Gamble, they worked as a Data Scientist for two years. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Research Associate at the Institute for Spectroscopy Russian Academy of Sciences. Svyatoslav then moved on to King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, where they were a Postdoctoral Fellow studying gaseous detonations in supersonic flows. In 2012, they joined San Diego State University-California State University as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on image processing and segmentation of tomographic images. Next, they worked at Stanford University as a Physical Science Research Scientist and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Svyatoslav then transitioned to PARC, a Xerox Company, where they held roles as a Research Scientist and a Senior Research Scientist, specializing in mathematical modeling, image processing, and additive manufacturing technology. Most recently, they worked at Valar Labs as a Principal Researcher, conducting statistical and computer vision analysis of pathology slides to build predictive models for cancer treatment outcomes. In the future, starting in 2023, they will be joining Shifamed as a Principal Research and Development Engineer.
Svyatoslav Korneev received their Master's degree in Theoretical Astrophysics from Saint Petersburg State University in 2006. Svyatoslav further pursued their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2011.
