Heather Mercer

Heather Mercer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Heather currently works as an Accounting Remittance Supervisor at Shift, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, Heather worked at CarLotz as an Accounting-Remittance Supervisor starting in February 2022. Heather also served as a Cash Treasury Specialist at CarLotz from September 2020 to February 2022.

Before their time at CarLotz, Heather worked as an Accounting Specialist at C.L. Amernick, CPA, PC from February 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and reviewing accounting records, entering data, checks, and credit cards, and keeping up with General Ledger books.

Heather's work experience also includes roles at PETA as a Membership Representative from June 2016 to July 2018, at JRaye HR Consulting as an Administrative Assistant from February 2016 to June 2016, at Patient First as a Phlebotomist Intern from December 2015 to January 2016, at La Quinta Inns & Suites as a Front Desk Agent from March 2015 to December 2015, and at Panera Bread as an Associate from April 2014 to March 2015.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle customer complaints and multitask efficiently.

Heather Mercer obtained an Associate's Degree in English Language and Literature from Montgomery College, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. In 2015, they pursued a Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist program at ECPI University and completed it in 2016. Prior to that, in 2010-2011, they studied American Sign Language at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) in January 2015.
