Jessica C.

Jessica C. has a diverse and extensive work experience across various sectors. In their current role as the Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs at Shift5, they are responsible for establishing the government affairs function to support the company's expansion in the defense and transportation infrastructure sectors. Prior to this, they worked at Recorded Future as the Director of Government Affairs, leading outreach efforts to the U.S. defense and intelligence communities.

Jessica also has experience in the public sector, having served as a Professional Staff Member on the House Committee on Armed Services, where they were responsible for oversight of policy, programs, and resources related to sensitive military operations. Jessica was also appointed as the J2 Senior Intelligence Strategy Advisor at the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where they led intelligence priorities and advocated for Combatant Command intelligence requirements.

Earlier in their career, Jessica worked at the United States Department of Defense in various roles, including as an Innovation Consultant, Lead International Officer, Senior Intelligence Analyst, and GEOINT analyst. Their responsibilities included advising senior leadership on open-content focused solutions, driving industry engagement, and aligning resources for programmatic success.

In addition to their professional roles, Jessica has also been actively involved in philanthropy and volunteering, contributing to various philanthropies as a community volunteer. Jessica is also a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Jessica C. attended Miami University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography.
