Monicah Wangui

MONICAH WANGUI is an experienced operations and program coordinator with a strong background in project management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as an Operations Coordinator at Shiftbalance since February 2024, MONICAH has also held various roles including Fundraising and Grants Assistant at ZED-MOTORS in April 2024 and Program Coordinator at AfricaHelpers from February 2023 to February 2024, where responsibilities included program planning and budget management. MONICAH co-founded the Mega Women Organization in January 2017, focusing on empowering victims of violence, and previously worked as an Administrative Officer for Lamu County Government from January 2020 to December 2022, overseeing personnel and records management. MONICAH holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Mount Kenya University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the Technical University of Mombasa.
